He of Mackelmore and Ryan Lewis Fame but it was kind of funny because he never actually called him Macklemore he just kept calling him “ben” which I guess in a weird way kind of makes sense.
I tried to make up for my crappy previous Jack Canfield Question and I asked him a question that I had heard one of my favorite DJ’s of all time [Sasha] talk about when producing and creating music, mainly:
“What do you listen to to clear your head at night so you don’t have the same song you are writing running through your head all night long”
<This used to happen to me all of the time when I wrote goofy music back in the day – call it “stuck song”…. a song you are writing is totally stuck in a loop in your head>
His answer was pretty surprising – The girl from Ipanema – which I really wasn’t expecting- and then he took it to a whole new level with John Williams and started talking about how awesome Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars soundtracks were and how under appreciated John Williams was. I countered with Hans Zimmer but it seems like he is a John Williams guy through and through.
Then he started making out with my wife. Half kidding …
He’s also younger than heck.
